Who we are

Humble Media Co. was created in 2021 as a joint venture between passionate and driven aspiring filmmakers, Casey Hardman and Andrew Edgar.  We have a combined 15 years of varied filmmaking experience, ranging from music videos and short films to television commercials and political campaigns.

I'm Casey Hardman and I'm a DP & cinematographer from Parkersburg, WV. My creative odyssey began when I was introduced to skateboarding through the viewfinder of a Sony Handycam. As a kid, I found myself falling in love with learning how angles and focal lengths each told a different story. From there I started shooting music videos and short films, which allowed my imagination to explode, and opened doors to other ventures such as weddings, automotive films, commercial advertising, and more.

I have to credit my parents for bringing art into my world at such a young age. My father is an incredible percussionist, and my mother is an amazing artist. I’m forever grateful for their support and inspiration to follow my dreams. My work is influenced by every experience, and I love using those experiences to grow, not only as a creator, but as a human.

My name is Drew Edgar. I’m a content creator living in Parkersburg, WV.  For as long as I can remember, there has been something captivating and immensely satisfying about the creative process. From the time I was 12, trying to learn how my older brother's copy of Photoshop worked so I could create signatures for vbulletin boards, to the time I first picked up a proper DSLR in 2010, and to my endless journey to improve my craft and learn how to tell stories - there are few things as rewarding as the process of experimenting, learning and growing as a creator. Working with others to bring their vision to life, to carry their story from the hazy spark of an idea to a tangible, completed THING, with all the late nights and hard work in between - that's what drives me as a person and as a creator.

There's nothing quite so satisfying as looking back at a completed product and being able to proudly declare "I made that," and there's nothing quite so exciting as dissecting it to learn how we can make the next one even better.
